Breaking through the clutter with guerilla advertising

February 28, 2008

You’ve heard it a million times. When you’re advertising a product or service to an audience, you need to break through the everyday clutter of competing ads. The average person may see hundreds, if not thousands of ads everyday, so why should they pay attention to yours? The answer is they shouldn’t. Unless, of course, you can get their attention.

not GORILLA advertising, guerilla advertising

Guerilla advertising is a relatively untapped way of advertising that does just this. Guerilla advertising is the art of advertising in unconvential ways. The best guerilla advertising is original and effective. I found some solid examples of guerilla advertising online today. These should give you an idea of what has been done and hopefully get your creative juices flowing.

Until next time.
